Curious about this site, looking forward to reading through all the info.
I am originally from South- Africa where I worked as a communications consultant for a private health insurance co and have some experience in project co-ordination and testing/qa for software companies.  Currently, I reside in Innisfail, Queensland.

We moved to Oz for a change in lifestyle and I so desperately wanted to be a stay-at-home mom.  15 months down the line, and I realised,  I actually enjoy the mental stimulation of working.  I actually think I am a better mom if I do work.  My son is almost 4 and stays home with me and my daughter is 5 and in prep.

I am looking for something that I can do from home remotely - I have strong testing/QA skills.

Looking forward to meeting other moms on this forum.

You have some fantastic skills to offer and I am sure that you will be able to find the right work from home job suitable for you! I know what you mean about the "mental stimulation of work".. :-) It's all about the right balance, isn't it? How many hours per week would you like to work?

Yes, all about getting the right balance  
 A friend and I were laughing the other day, as she begged her husband to stay at home and not return after maternity leave.  Two weeks after resigning she was ready to tear her hair out from boredom.  Us mums!

I am looking at about 20 hours per week initially, it would be great to find something from home!
